We at Ohketeau Cultural Center and at the Natives Run Advisory Committee have the honor of distributing 10 bibs to Indigenous community members who are enrolled members of Tribal communities in New England.
The Boston Half Marathon is 13.1 mile run and for our community members health and safety it is important that the proper training has commenced so that the individuals chosen can have the best chance at successfully and safely completing the run. To ensure that all bibs are used we will have standbys for bibs in the case that someone is unable to complete the training necessary to prepare or in the case that there is a reason that the chosen runner has to back out at the last minute.

We still have one bib left!
Share this to a Native runner you know who may want to be a part of this! Don’t let the bib go unclaimed!
Starting and finishing in Boston’s Franklin Park, the route runs along the Emerald Necklace Park System, past Arnold Arboretum, Jamaica Pond, Willow Pond and Olmsted Park.
