Our mission is to serve and uplift our Indigenous communities through cultural programs, outreach and education, and bringing awareness about Indigenous cultures through various means and Partners. To support the health and wellness of our Indigenous Peoples through Programing, workshops, outreach and other activities that support our communities. To decolonize our spaces of learning and sharing by implementing traditional practices that serve and benefit the Whole. To Maintain an environment where each individual is respected, safe and valued for who they are and where their spirit may grow and succeed. To work with Tribes, allies, organizations, and educational institutions who wish to partner on this important work. We are a drug and alcohol-free Center.

Ohketeau allows for the opportunity for interdisciplinary education through cultural workshops,  dance, music, art, indoor and outdoor, activities that allows participants the opportunity to fully express their talents. We believe teaching and learning is a relationship of reciprocity. Our interactions with each other recognize each others abilities  while also exploring new ways to express our culture.

In addition, our mission is to provide a safe, rewarding and enriching experience for the Indigenous community of the region.
